PALOS VERDES PENINSULA

FREE CLASSES BEGIN WEDNESDAY, JULY 29, 2015

Following a major disaster, police, fire and medical professionals may not be able to meet the demand for emergency medical attention. Residents and neighbors may need to rely upon one another to help with immediate life saving needs, particularly in isolated neighborhoods that may be cut off from the main roads.

The L.A. County Fire Department’s Community Emergency Response Training (CERT) program was developed through FEMA to provide basic training in safety and life saving skills for the public.
